Apetina BBQ Club
Apetina were looking into developing a BBQ planner we came up with a system hat would allow people to quickly and easily set up a BBQ and invite their friends. I was tasked to work out the UX and build the front end.
The application combines jQuery UI, Google Maps and the World Weather API. Synchronising these was a challenge but well worth it. The site is intuitive and simple.
It allows users to quickly create a ‘shopping list’ for all guests who can also add items themselves. Users can publish what they are taking, and see what everyone else is taking. Also, users don’t have to be on Facebook to be invited.
